Mexican jasper, also known as black and white zebra jasper, is surprisingly not a jasper at all, it is a type of calcite! It is known to be a very positive stone helping you to see the positive in life even when it is hard. It is a wonderful aid to meditation due to its deep grounding energy. It has a protective energy, although not strong enough to be classed as a protection stone, that helps to protect the wearer in a way that is gentle and authentic.
